But caring for these leather is a crucial task as it requires regular conditioning and polishing

What is leather conditioning ?

Leather conditioning is basically done to darken the leather unlike polishing which gives shine to leather. Other than this, conditioning protects the leather to crack keeping it erect for long. It happens in winter, that leather gets splited due to low temperature, conditioning actually don’t let the temperature affect the core of leather and  keeps it protected. Actually leather is also a skin, an animal skin, just like your skin which requires moisture in winter and gets nourishment from your body. The leather material gets its shine from whatever you pour on it. Different types of polish and Conditioning works as a moisturizer for animal skin.

Leather remains perfect until and unless it is resisted from water. A regular conditioning keeps the pores close and shiny for years longer. Not only the boots but even leather sandal men and women require the same care and attention of yours.

No matter you are buying leather slipper men or women, boots, sandals, it is important to check the quality of leather you are buying is of that worth or not. As nowadays very cheap quality leather is also available in the market which looks just like top grade one but lacks durability. Once you have bought it, do condition it as most of the leather products come without conditioning.

Process of conditioning your leather products

Whether you have a leather iPad case or sandal, it needs complete care if you want to enhance its durability:-

Clean your leather with saddle soap to remove dirt and sand stuck to it, but mind it don’t over use it.

Leave your leather for drying, no need of excessive heating, it can be done on normal room temperature

Now condition the shoe, if it’s the first time, you can apply one more coat and can leave it for overnight

Remove the excess conditioner, as you have lathered it while doing it, now you have to take away the unsoaked one.

Now finally you can polish the shoes and give them the shine what they deserve and what suits them.
